Ukraine Crisis Appeal

On the morning of 24 February 2022 the world watched in horror as the Russian government launched a full-scale invasion of Ukraine after months of military build up on the border separating the 2 countries.

The impact of the war on the Ukrainian population has been immense and they quickly ran out of essential supplies. Like millions of people around the world, the Gallagher Family felt the need to help, in some way, if we could.

So in partnership with our friends at Coinford we asked our teams, suppliers, clients and friends to donate the essentials that were now in short supply.

In just 4 days we had enough supplies to fill 2 large transit vans, INCREDIBLE!!

Lyndsey Gallagher, her husband Paul Timlin (Coinford MD) and Piotr Papalski from Coinford drove the 4,000km across Europe to the Polish-Ukraine border.

There is a problem getting supplies to the front line and so the Ukrainian ladies we met, drive back and forth across the border to collect and then distribute donations to those in need.

They couldn’t believe how much you all donated in 4 days, to say they were delighted, and grateful would be an understatement. As we’ve come to learn about the Ukrainian people, the ladies we met had an incredible spirit and were determined not to give up.

Huge thanks to Team Gallagher for your kind donations, thanks to the ladies at HQ for packing and labelling and the plant boys for helping pack the vans on the Friday afternoon before setting off. The Gallagher family are so proud of you all and how in times of need – you step up to help others.

Lyndsey Gallagher commented “It was a very long drive, a heartbreaking and very emotional morning meeting the Ukrainian ladies and hearing their stories – but I’m so glad as a team, we did our bit.”

Thank you to Kevin Richardson and Mason Dunn who collected and donated donations from everyone on site.

Well done EVERYONE at Gallagher Group – you have been so kind and generous in every possible way!
