This historical stone has enjoyed a revival over recent years as planners and architects have become increasingly aware of its versatility, charm and availability.
A part of history
London was built by Romans transporting Kentish Ragstone by boat from Kent into London. It’s what gave many of the South East’s and London’s historical castles, houses, churches and walls their own unique character and it’s rich history is something we are proud to be a part of.
A sustainable choice
Kentish Ragstone has a long life, is highly durable, has a high thermal capacity and requires low maintenance over its life-span.
When compared with concrete and concrete block or brick construction, natural stone for new-build construction shows an advantage when it comes to sustainability in that fewer energy resources are consumed during the material production, transportation and construction processes.
