Unit G, Hermitage Court

Gallagher Properties Ltd constructed a new grade A office building at Hermitage Court, in Barming, on the outskirts of Maidstone.

The new 5,150 sq ft office, known as Unit G, was built on a speculative basis by Gallagher and has an attractive design which includes a high quality, low maintenance cladding system and Kentish Ragstone feature walls, using stone quarried less than a mile away at Gallagher’s Hermitage Quarry. The building was designed by gdm architects with some input from Gallagher.

Following growing demand for its care and support services, Superior Care is moving its Maidstone office to Hermitage Court, the business park near Barming and close to Junction 5 of the M20. The Whitstable-based company has agreed a 10 year lease on 1,290 sq ft of offices within Unit G. The offices were fitted out by Blue Jelly, following an introduction from Gallagher.

Gallagher Properties Ltd’s decision to commence the construction of this, and one other, new office on a speculative basis reflects its confidence in Hermitage Court as a thriving business park. Hermitage Court has excellent parking and transport links and is close to Maidstone, yet feels like it is in the countryside.
