Gallagher’s Kentish Ragstone was selected as the main building stone for a new house in Plaxtol, near Sevenoaks in Kent. Kentish Ragstone was specified to ensure the new house maintained the local vernacular character of Kent’s architecture.

Gallagher’s Hermitage Quarry in Maidstone supplied 150m2 of new 150mm thick split faced Kentish Ragstone for the external walls and Kentish Ragstone slips for a bespoke feature fireplace.

Gallagher’s Kentish Ragstone is available in a selection of walling stones, which are cut, textured and ‘aged’ to suit our clients’ specific requirements. The rich earthy colours of the limestone lend itself to being used in a variety of projects, internally and externally.
