Sales Administrator

Gallagher Aggregates Ltd is recruiting a Sales Administrator to join its Commercial Team at Hermitage Quarry, Maidstone.

Location: Hermitage Quarry, Hermitage Lane, Maidstone, Kent.

Full time. Permanent.

Role: Working closely with the Commercial Team as the Sales Administrator, dealing with customers on the telephone and helping to build the ready mixed concrete and aggregates business by maximising every sales lead. Providing support to the rest of the Commercial and Distribution Team.

Job description:

  • Taking customer enquiries
  • Pricing and securing work from builders merchants and cash sale markets
  • Producing formal quotations on our computer systems, recording won and lost reasons
  • Keeping the tender and site files updated
  • Adding orders onto the computer systems
  • Reviewing and following up on sales/planning leads
  • Market research
  • Producing reports using the computer systems
  • Account management
  • Limit level query management and debt collection  

Requirements: A professional and friendly manner, supporting the Gallagher brand values. Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office. Previous experience within the aggregates and/or ready mixed concrete industry is essential. A confident, motivated and enthusiastic individual willing to work within a team and a desire to grow with the business.

Remuneration: Based on experience.
