Receptionist / Sales Administration Assistant

Location: Hermitage Quarry, Hermitage Lane, Maidstone, Kent.

Full time. Permanent.

Role: Fantastic opportunity to learn and progress within a fast-paced Construction sales office. Working closely with the Commercial Team as a Receptionist, dealing with customer enquiries in person or over the telephone. Providing sales and administration support to the Commercial and Management Team when required.

Job description:

  • Greeting customers in person and on the telephone
  • Ordering office supplies
  • Diary management
  • Meeting organisation / catering
  • Market research / Sales support
  • Updating memberships
  • Handling and managing complaints system
  • Adding orders onto the computer systems
  • Minute taking
  • Producing reports using the computer systems
  • Providing cover for absence in the Sales office
  • Pricing cash sales and processing orders

Requirements: A professional and friendly manner, supporting the Gallagher brand values. Excellent communication and listening skills are a must. Computer literate with a good understanding of Microsoft Office/Excel and PowerPoint. Previous Reception/ sales experience is desirable. A confident, motivated and enthusiastic individual willing to work within a team and a desire to grow with the business.

Remuneration: Based on experience.
