Finance / Admin Assistant – (Temporary) 6-8 months Maternity Cover

Location: Hermitage Quarry, Hermitage Lane, Maidstone.
Full Time. Permanent. 37.5 hours per week.
Preferred hours of 8:30AM – 5:00PM (Monday to Friday with one hour for lunch)
Salary – Negotiable depending on experience
23 days annual leave (pro-rata)

We are currently seeking an experienced Finance/Administration Assistant to provide maternity leave cover for a varied Finance/Administrative support role. The role will be based full time at Hermitage Quarry (Maidstone).

Job Description:

  • Assisting the Sales Ledger Controller with data input, dealing with customer queries and POD requests, scanning/filing and general administrative support as required.
  • Taking customer payments over the telephone.
  • Assisting the Purchase Ledger Controller with scanning/matching of invoices and general administrative duties, as required.
  • General administrative support to all areas of the business and providing holiday cover as required.


Candidates must have previous experience in a Finance/Administrative role, be computer literate and have good communication skills. A professional and friendly manner, along with a flexible and pro-active attitude towards working are essential. (Ability to drive and own transport essential)
