The last remaining foundation base for the 60th and final pylon for the Richborough contract is complete. The base was poured on Monday 15th October, which is a big milestone in this project.
The 60 pylons run from Richborough on the east Kent coast to Canterbury at 500m intervals.
This is part of the Nemo Link, a project to connect the electricity supply of Belgium with the UK via high voltage electricity cables under the sea.
Gallagher has been working on the contract for a year so far, and will now embark on the removal of bridges and ditch crossings, followed by cable installations.
