North Kent Police Station, Northfleet

Gallagher have recently successfully completed the groundwork and external works packages on this £45 million scheme for Kier South East. Our overall works comprised the construction of the ground floor slab, drainage, service ducts, paving and extensive tarmac car parking areas. This was all completed within an 18 month duration on site.

Gallagher was the first sub-contractor to complete their works on site which was a great achievement by the site team.     

Tesco, Orpington

Gallagher have been working for HBG on the construction of a new 80,000sq ft Tesco store (shell only) and 73 apartments with all associated car parking, plant areas and external works. Following perimeter secant piling operations (by others), Gallagher undertook construction of the R.C perimeter capping beam to the secant piled wall. Completion of the 70,000m³ bulk earthworks is now drawing to a conclusion, as we complete excavation down to the lower level basement. Following piling to the lower level basement, Gallagher will excavate and cast a series of R.C pile caps, bases and core foundations.

EuroKent, Broadstairs

Gallagher were appointed by McLaren to undertake earthworks, drainage, substructure, superstructure and external works to this project comprising of mixed leisure facilities - four new restaurants, multi-screen cinema, bingo facility and casino Works commenced on site in late 2006.

Holborough Valley, Snodland - Phase 3

Gallagher are currently progressing with the infrastructure works and new roads construction on Phase 3 of this Berkeley Homes development. This phase is a continuation from previous phases that Gallagher have completed over the years.

HMP, Rochester

Gallagher were appointed by Wates to undertake enabling, bulk earthworks (cut & fill), drainage, substructure groundwork’s and external works & landscaping to this project. Works have been undertaken at an incredible pace on four fronts concurrently, (i) upgrade & new works to existing entrance and perimeter, (ii) upgrade & new works within the existing prison establishment itself, (iii) new works to the area formerly used as the farm and finally (iv) the new works (referred to as the TCF) which is the former sports field area.
