ICE (INSTITUTE OF CIVIL ENGINEERS) ENGINEERING EXCELLENCE AWARD WINNER 2010 - GALLAGHER

Gallagher Ltd have been awarded the prestigious ICE (Institute of Civil Engineers) Community Award at the recent Engineering Awards 2010, for their work carried out as principle contractor for Dartford Council on their Dartford Greenheart initiative in Central Park, the town's major recreation space. The works comprised the construction of a new engineered embankment, a sloping footway leading down a 6 metre drop to the riverbank, two single span steel bridges with timber decking, extensive footways around Central Park and a new Bandstand.
