BROOKLANDS HOTEL COMPLETED
April 2010
Gallagher, appointed by the principal contractor, Bowmer & Kirkland,
carried out a range of civil engineering work on this significant and striking
new hotel at the heart of the historic Brooklands site in Surrey.
The works included drainage, covering the supply and installation of
360 m3 attenuation tank and 500 linear metres of foul & surface water
drainage, interceptors, a pumping station and a surface water outfall.
An extensive range of ductwork, pits, kiosks and substations were
constructed for the variety of services required for the operations of the
hotel.
Externally, Gallagher provided works covering the imported fill, kerbs,
edgings, hard & soft landscaping and 5,000 sq m of tarmacadam.
To complete this prestigious project specialist granite paving was installed
and an access bridge constructed.
