Tesco in Fareham
This is the first contract that Gallagher has carried out with ISG and comprises the groundworks and externals for a new Tesco Store. The overall project consisted of an underground car park with the new store built above and extensive external works areas.
Gallagher’s initial contract was for the substructure foundations, attenuation tanks, drainage and ducting within a 14 week period. The scope and value of our works increased with a second 14 week visit to construct two number RC highway structures onto and off of the podium dock slab, refurbishment of existing car parks, construction of paved access roads, cycles walls, street furniture and other elements of external works.
The site was very constricted with a single narrow point of access.
The scheme was completed in November 2011.
