Sainsbury's Sevenoaks

Gallagher was awarded two contracts in the recent extension of Sainsbury’s existing store in Sevenoaks; the works were undertaken over a 27 week period. The works were all done whilst the store remained open, adding extra challenges to the contract.

Initially the works comprised of reworking the entire 350+ car park; new kerbing, belisha beacons, lighting, walkways, tarmacadam surfacing and thermoplastic road markings.

The second package of works comprised new store extensions, north, east and west elevations, plus additional warehouse space and goods on line facilities.

Gallagher was also been contracted to take earthworks material back to Hermitage Quarry.

All stone and concrete for the scheme, including recycled aggregates, were supplied by Gallagher Aggregates Ltd.
