Maidstone United FC's new stadium

Maidstone United FC has returned to the County Town after a 23 year absence.

The new stadium is located off James Whatman Way in Maidstone. It is called the Gallagher Stadium and consists of a main stand, two covered terraces, a club house, changing rooms, a physiotherapy room, classrooms and parking.

The stadium is the first football ground in the country to include a hi-tech 3G pitch from the outset. This means that it can be used by the Club's first team, its 25+ community teams and other local clubs, businesses, community groups and schools all year round.

Gallagher was Principal Contractor in the construction of the new stadium. Gallagher did the bulk earthworks and constructed the new grandstand, club house, car park and all facilities required by a new football stadium.

In addition, Gallagher Aggregates Ltd produced a specialist Type 1X crushed stone which was laid underneath the artificial pitch.

The stadium was completed on schedule and is now being extensively used by the club and the wider community.
