Local residents will have the opportunity to view the proposals to develop Waterside Park at a public exhibition later this month.

Information on Waterside Park, and plans to create manufacturing facilities, warehousing and logistics centres, and high quality international headquarters near Junction 8 of the M20, will be on display at the Mercure Great Danes Hotel, Hollingbourne, on Wednesday 26 June, between 2pm and 8pm.

The exhibition will outline the proposals, how the site would be sensitively developed, and what it would mean in terms of supporting the Maidstone economy. It will also be an opportunity for members of the public to meet the project team.

The proposed development of Waterside Park is on 42 acres of land adjacent to the A20. Two longstanding Kent companies - Automotive Distributors Ltd (ADL) and Scarab Sweepers Ltd - have announced that they are prepared to invest at the site and relocate their combined workforce of 450 people from Marden.
