Works starts on Southampton's tallest building
Gallagher is about to start work on an exciting new development in Southampton which will include the tallest building in the city. The development, called Admiral's Quay, comprises a landmark 26 storey residential tower and supporting 16 and 9 storey residential buildings. Admiral's Quay is on the site of the former Canutes Pavilion shopping centre village and will include 299 apartments and 2800m2 of retail and restaurant space.
Gallagher has been appointed by Wheelan and Grant to do the reinforced concrete substructures, associated underground drainage and service ducts. There is potential for Gallagher to undertake the external works at a later date. The main contractor for the development is Warings.
