Maidstone United's new stadium to be called the Gallagher Stadium
It has been announced that the new Maidstone United FC stadium will be called the Gallagher Stadium. This follows a five year deal between The Gallagher Group and Maidstone United FC.
Work is progressing well on the construction of the new stadium off James Whatman Way in Maidstone. The building work means that the team's 23 years in exile are coming to an end. The Gallagher Group has invested £150,000 in the project and is acting as Principal Contractor for the project. To date, we have completed the specialist stone base required for the football pitch and have commenced works to the grandstand.
The Gallagher Stadium will be completed on time for its first fixture on 14 July against Charlton Athletic.
