Gallagher helps to uncover buried past

Ragstone walls dating from Roman times have been uncovered by a Maidstone team of archaeologists at East Farleigh. The 1,800 year old walls stand in excess of 1.5m high and very well preserved, which are testament to the qualities of Kentish Ragstone still quarried by Gallagher Aggregates at Hermitage Lane, Barming.

Gallagher is delighted to be able to help the group continue their investigations into East Farleigh's buried past.
